Joomla England

January 16, 2012

I found out today that my site was sitting in position 10 in Google for the search “Joomla England“. While it’s true that I do Joomla development in England, I do a lot of Joomla development for companies all over the UK, not just in England.
I would like to see it get a bit higher up the results page though so lets see if this rather pointless post boosts the ranking up any higher than position 10. I’ll keep you posted.

It worked! Now you’re at #3. If I add a little spice to the mix by saying that I was trying find out how many sites in England are currently built using Joomla!, maybe a) you’ll be able to help estimate that, and b) you might move up to #2.

LOL! Superb. I would imagine that a pretty high percentage of new or updated sites are built using some kind of CMS. In addition to Joomla, Wordpress and Drupal seem to be pretty strong players. Probably 50% if sites I currently work on are now using Joomla – but then I am a bit biased. :-)
